Constanza forma part del IBIDAPS (institut d&#8217;Investigacions Biom\u00e8diques August Pi i Sunyer) que \u00e9s un centre de recerca de l&#8217;Hospital Cl\u00ednic. Ella treballa en un <strong>laboratori de recerca mitocondrial<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Va dividir la xerrada en dues parts. En la primera part va parlar sobre el seu treball, sobre quin proc\u00e9s hi ha fins a arribar-hi i com hi treballen. Va explicar que ells treballen en equips multidisciplinaris.  Es a dir cada persona  est\u00e0 especialitzada en un tema en concret per\u00f2 treballen conjuntament.  En cada equip hi ha; bi\u00f2legs, pediatres, qu\u00edmics i els que analitzen en el laboratori.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large\"><img Va dir que \u00e9s una carrera llarga i lenta amb molt treball. Com qualsevol carrera es comen\u00e7a amb un grau o batxillerat. Seguidament els estudis universitaris, on pots estudiar; biologia, bioqu\u00edmica i metge. Despr\u00e9s et pots treure un m\u00e0ster i m\u00e9s endavant un doctorat. El doctorat es tarda m\u00e9s de 4 anys per\u00f2 es pot treure mentre que ja treballes. Conjuntament amb aix\u00f2 en vas ensenyar una not\u00edcia on es confirmava que els professors, els investigadors, els metges i els esportistes s\u00f3n els treballadors m\u00e9s feli\u00e7os. Amb aix\u00f2 va intentar animar als alumnes a treballar-hi d&#8217;aix\u00f2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un cop va acabar d&#8217;explicar el seu treball, va parlar sobre els mitocondris. Va explicar que un mitocondri \u00e9s un org\u00e0nul d&#8217;her\u00e8ncia materna. Son molt importants per a l&#8217;organisme. Est\u00e0 molt relacionat amb funcions de l&#8217;organisme i amb moltes patologies. Com per exemple; miopatia, alzheimer, retards uterins, VIH, hepatitis C, toxicologia. En les crestes mitocondrials est\u00e0 la membrana interna, on hi ha una cadena amb 5 nuclis de prote\u00efnes que s&#8217;estudia molt perqu\u00e8 totes les patologies es veuen en aquesta cadena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les funcions del mitocondri son; ATP, respiraci\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular, calor, hemostasi del calci, metab\u00f2lits, apoptosi (mort cel\u00b7lular). Els mitocondris tenen un ADN propi que codifica 13 prote\u00efnes i est\u00e0 relacionat amb l&#8217;ADN nuclear. En l&#8217;ADN es poden donar mutaci\u00f3 (canvi en un nucle\u00f2tid), deleci\u00f3 (falta un fragment d&#8217;ADN) i depleci\u00f3(falta de la c\u00f2pia de l&#8217;ADN mitocondrial). Les manifestacions cl\u00edniques es donen; Sistema Nervi\u00f3s Central, en l&#8217;o\u00efda, l&#8217;ull, el cor i el rony\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ens va explicar que els bi\u00f2legs treballen amb; mostres fresques, mostres congelades(-80 \u00b0C), amb teixits i amb c\u00e8l\u00b7lules a\u00efllades.
