This morning my Global Scholars peers and I had a skype conversation and it was very interesting. They started making questions to us and we continued asking them about their country and school. The kids we talked to had a higher English level than we had at their age and I think that’s cool. They showed us some traditional meals from their country like tofu, which looked nice and tasty, but they told us that it was stinky and that you have to be brave to taste it! They also showed us a famous Spanish castle called the San Domingo Castle. They told us that the Spanish people who used to live there builded it and it remained there since then. They also said that they use to wear uniforms, but not everyday. They have “casual Wendesdays”, where they can dress as they like.
I think this videocall was very interesting and I am glad that everybody had a good behaviour.
