End-of-Year Reflection (Global Scholars)

THIS YEAR, IN GLOBAL SCHOLAR, WE LEARNED ABOUT OTHER CULTURES OR THINGS OF OTHER COUNTRIES.

NOW, WE ARE MAKING A PROJECT WHERE WE RECOLLECT FOOD AND AFTERWARDS WE GIVE THIS FOOD TO THE NGO FOOD BANK OF BARCELONA.

THERE WERE DIFFERENT GROUPS THAT DID DIFFERENT THINGS TO DO POSSIBLE THE PROJECT, SOME GROUPS DID HANDICRAFTS TO GIVE PEOPLE AND AFTERWARDS WE COULD RECIEVE FOOD, LIKE AN EXCHANGE.

ANOTHER GROUP MADE POSTERS TO DO A FASTLY INFORM OF PROJECT, BECAUSE MY GROUP WAS THE GROUP THAT INFORM PEOPLE, WE DID THE WEBPAGE. FINALLY, OTHER GROUP MADE A VIDEO TO SHOW PEOPLE ALL THE PROGRESS AND INTERVIEWS THAT THEY DID.

1. What interesting facts did you learn about the cities in your collaboration? I learned about to do a Web Page to inform people about one topic.

2. Choose an international city from your collaboration. How is life in this city similar to life in your

city? How is it different? What do you think is the reason for this? New York: is a big city, like Barcelona. Had a lot populutation for the size of city. Life is normal for a big city, but sometimes so much people make life difficult There, people speak english because is the language of country, compared, we are in Global Scholars to learn english.
The temperature is similar because Barcelona and New York have parallels near, only diferent is that in Barcelona is very difficult that snow and in New York snow every year.

3. Which food system issue was most interesting to you? Why? Food wasted. Because is very difficult to raise awareness that throw to trush food is so bad to food system.

4. Which digital tools did you most enjoy using? Why? Make a Web Page, because I like a lot to create technologic things and show it to people. And a Web Page is the perfect thing, I can inform people of a topic with technolology.

5. How will you use what you learned this year in the future? To speak with people of other countrys and cities about his culture.
