The Flintstones was a serie with a lot of success at the time.The success was such that two films and some video games were made.
It was about two families who had many adventures. One family were The Flintstones and the other The Rubbles. The Flintstones were formed by Fred, the father, Wilma,the mother, Pebbles, the daughter and Dino and Baby Puss that were the pets. The Rubbles were formed by Barney, the father, Betty, the mother, Bam-Bam, the son and Hoppy the pet.
The series expressed a criticism to the American society of the moment. They criticized mainly the consumerism of the Americans, that is why The Flintstones had a car although they had to carry it and that is also why Wilma and Betty are “crazy about shopping”
